Domus Liberta: Aunt's Room

Domus Liberta, a flat in the centre of Trieste, is an elegant and cosy environment with large living spaces and is housed in an early 20th century residence.
It is located 300 metres from the railway station and with a short walk you can reach the heart of the city and all the most characteristic areas.
The flat has a total area of 130sqm and is divided into two rooms with private bathrooms, which can be rented separately.

The flat retains a Central European air and will take you back in time to a picture-postcard Trieste. Through its rooms, furnished for the most part with restored original period furniture, you can relive that same atmosphere, accompanied by all the comforts of a modern home.
All the rooms guarantee our guests the utmost tranquillity and comfort.
The entrance door opens onto a long corridor onto which all the rooms overlook. The cosy atmosphere of yesteryear can already be perceived here, in the attention to detail and the original, herringbone parquet floor.

The first door on the left is the ‘Auntie's Room’, a large room with a double bed and a single wrought-iron bed; up to three people can be accommodated here.
Some early 20th-century furniture gives the room lines of Habsburg simplicity, and between the two windows is the dresser with marble shelf and original mirror.

Next to the ‘Aunt's Room’ on the left is a ‘Grandfather's Parlour’ that can accommodate two people in a comfortable double sofa-bed. The room features some late 19th-century furniture, including a tasteful dining table and a marble-topped mirror embellished with wooden columns.

The bathroom is private but outside the room and is tiled in light blue and features a washing machine and hairdryer. Towels and toiletries are provided for each guest.

The flat is equipped with heating, TV and Wi-Fi. The building is from the early 1900s and the thick walls help keep out the summer heat, but fans are available in the rooms if needed.

The flat is easy to reach by car, the area is not a restricted traffic zone and there is some free parking on the street or a large pay car park nearby.
Luggage storage is available at a charge at the station.

Payment of the tourist tax of 2€ per person per day is required.
Access for guests
The room and private bathroom will be at the complete disposal of the guests, the entrance and corridor are shared with the ‘Grandmother's Room’.

The facility is equipped with automated access with electronic keypads.
